Welcome!
If you're looking for John Jackson the librarian...
...then you've come to right place. In 2011, I graduated from the School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University, focusing on academic libraries and reference.
I've worked for the University of Southern California Libraries since Fall 2007 and am currently a Library Supervisor in Grand Library. I spend most of the day cataloging late nineteenth and twentieth century publications and teaching student assistants the intricacies of AACR2. On occasion, you can also find me teaching information literacy courses, providing in-person and virtual reference service, and designing research guides.
Find out more by reading the about page or jumping over to my blog, Ink and Vellum, where I discuss issues related to academic libraries, reference services, and information literacy.
